No, I wouldn't have thought of toriis....but the image obtained is a great abstract, with an added bonus of the Chinese characters. You have a special eye, a third eye, because you notice things others don't.Good capture!

I guess my picture doesn't exactly fit my desciption of a tunnel, does it? :)
Anyway, these are the left-side poles of the torii and the tops of them are casting the horizontal shadows.
