I love the portrait, it is beautifully taken with excellent lighting. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the blurry left arm, maybe cropping to the hair level would be better. Alison

I think what Kambiz is meaning to say is the top of the subjects *left* shoulder and across to the neck appears 'cut' in too tight. Could be that when you were making a selection around (in order to blur edges and darken background), you've misjudged how far into the subject to go. If that's not the case, the only other thing that would leave such obvious jagged edges would be if you had used either the magic or background eraser tool in PS.... Having said all that, this is a lovely portrait with superb lighting. A far cry from your gorgeous landscapes but well worth seeing more of from you.

Cheers
Rina.

Thanks for the comment on the spider. I wish I had a beautiful subject like her to photo. I added some warm light and brought up the shot, blured then small sharpen.A redhead's skin tone is tricky, I really like your shot.Your color is great. I have a Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 I use for the same type shot. You can and should add portraits to your work Bravo-Rich

Hi John,
You cropped her left shoulder (on the right side of this image) like cutting with a scissors very badly. I am not very familiar with Miss PS's tools, but there is lasso with magnetic property that can cut you even in a curvy situation of her shoulder.

Hi Kambiz. Thank you for your sincere comment. I'm interested to find out what you mean by the cropping of her right shoulder. My screen has the whole of her right side including shoulder in the picture. John

Very awful and nasty cropping on the right side of your image. (on her shoulder)!!!
Sorry about my sincere feeling.
