Very original idea, nice combined of two photograph.
Wery nice duble capture with fine details! ...but we
know the iron is heavy material that's very fine &
pretty structure. Very well detatailed capture, great
contrast the two picture, against the b&w and the coloured
shot.
I think this is a very nice abstract composition with
full of exciting details. Lovely architectural solution.

Thanks again Mark :) I have countless shots of this liftbridge, it's very close to where I live, and it has many interesting details. Until the panorama format started on UF, I wouldn't have thought of doing collages because it made the shots really small, but now it's a fairly decent size, so it brings new possibilities. I have a small series of double images, this way I can use more of the pictures. I'm glad you noticed the perspective aspect, I try to make the collage work that way. Thank you very much Paolo :) I live very close to this bridge and I've been photographing it for years, it's painted orange with some green posts. It goes up and down when ships enter the gulf to the port, coming from Lake Ontario. I like the industrial look and the rust, I'm very happy to be among your favorites :) Best regards, Ina

Very interesting shot. I had thought it was a single shot, not a collage, with the near left being a bridge gate house of some sort and the right being the underside of an upper span. You got the view angle identical in both sides so that it looks like a single perspective. Oddly, I didn't notice the color vs BW of the two sides at first, I just thought it was a lighting different in the shot. One other interesting effect was that I had the impression of looking out a high window. I wanted to stand on a chair to see more of the scene oiut that window! A strong illusion you've created here, nice work!

Ine, the famous lift bridge - it always look so good on your pictures. The one is great collage of the b&w rich truss structure of the bridge with the color close up on the details of the tower. Wait for more to come, Cheers Ina, n.j
