Reading some of the comments on this photo, I add that I don't agree with some of them. I think this is a very elegant composition. I truly like what you done here. Nothing like b/w.

Laura, my opinion is that all the adjustments you have done have helped to improve the image. I don't like frames but in this case seems a good solution for the indistinct white background.
Better picture, for me.
