Ian, I can't find anything to critique in here, I love it to the maximum, even the dark area above, I simply like it, it feels like if you are leaving the earthy atmosphere going to outerspace, so I am against cropping :) I am sure my comment made you more confused, but .. it is my honest opinion :)

Ian,
great sharp reflection in calm waters of the pond, I like the colors too. I would however cropped out 15% of the space on upper right corner, this is to remove part of neutral dark top and move the silhouette more torwards strong point of the picture. This way you will balance the composition better and the blue diagonal path for flying away would play stronger as well.
