I agree it is different and original... but I think a face as pretty as this should be allowed to show in her true beauty.
I do like the hi-key effect. Perhaps if there was a way to allow her expression to be more natural while having the same high-key effect?
I just feel like her eyes hold a lot of beauty, and they should be natural - full and open.
Also, on a second look her hair is a little unweidly. on the top of her head.

My original idea is that those squinted eyes and the "original" expression should have something interesting ... but probabily you are right.
Wath do you think about the post-processing work (little high-key)?

I find this to be an attractive model, but I think her squinted eyes don't allow her full beauty to show through.
Having her eyes squinted makes her looked forced or like she's having a hard time seeing something, although she is smiling which conveys what she is trying to show.
