Beautiful shot Laura! You got lots of detail on the center of the blossom. I think this looks really good, especially with the dark green cradling the blossom.

Hi Laura, very nice picture of the magnolia blossom, what do you call those match stick like object that are cascading down, is it pistil or stamen??? anyway kidding aside, almost a year and it still looks fresh, does it still have fragrance?? kidding again..lol
very good clarity.., good exposure, your white is bright... nice shot!
the carriage is still waiting for you to ride... : )

Wonderful clear white colour, Laura! I like it that the flower is not perfect, it's started to loose its "teeth"!Beautiful contrast with the dark green supporting it.My wife and I are big lovers of magnolias and look forward to see the blooms. The buds are already quite big.
