Dear Ina, of course I do agree. There is no point of sending simple "thank you"-s when you could write a quick review of another picture instead. My practive is when I get a comment from sy, I go to his/her pictures and comment on one of the pics. I am also very busy these days but I hope to visit your pictures from time to time. Cheers, Gyuri

Ina, I did notice the tackle shop. Don't worry about the Thank you replys. I do enjoy the conversations that start up over images here at Usefilm. I know you won't stop that kind of thing. But we all realize our time is limited. Andre

Hi Gyuri, I had the same impression, when I opened the picture large for the first time I thought of Brueghel - the little people, perhaps the mellow green, it just hit me :) I'm really happy you recognized this! I'm going to be off for a few days, and I'm starting to reduce the number of "thank you" notes I write. This will give me more time to reply to such remarks, questions, suggestions, etc. and visit more portfolios. I hope you don't mind if I will only reply to a few comments, and don't write "Thank you" to each, because I do mean "Thank you" every time - Best regards and have a great week, Ina

Another wonderful romantic composition, Ina! I like the golden tones and the interesting action figures. The white bridge is very strategically placed. Eb

Thanks very much for your visit & comments Ace, I'll be away for a week, and I won't write any more "thank you" messages from now on, I'll try to be more efficient at visiting my UF fellow photographers' pictures instead. I hope you don't mind if I don't reply "Thanks" every time - because I mean it anyway! If there is a question, of course I will reply :) Best regards, Ina

Hi Andre, and thanks for stopping by! There is a Bait & Tackle shop in there too, hard to make out though at this scale :) I'll be away for a week Andre, and I won't write as many "thank you" messages from now on, I'll try to be more efficient at visiting yours and other friends portfolios. Andre, I hope you don't mind if I don't reply "Thanks" every time - because I mean it anyway! If there is a question or anything else, of course I will reply :) Best regards, Ina

Hello there Ina. Great posts.
You've pretty much nailed the golden afternoon glow here. I really like the pano composition of both these scenes. For reasons I can't quite put my finger on, this is my preferred of the two. Feels a little more tranquil... inviting. Wonderful colour and detail my friend.
Cheers Rina

As Dave said, Ina, this is very unusual weather for January in Ontario. I remember thinking the same as him in January. I would go out on a hike and it felt like late April or the end of October. Lovely detail in the Panaramic view! When you can make out details on the little people, you know you have a good one! Andre

Lovely picture, Ina, and rather tricky. On the thumbnail it looks rather average, but full blown it reveals a Breughelesque character with those little people. I like the jolly variety of the riverfolk. Best, Gyuri

Great colour and lighting here, Ina! Looks more like a fall day without the snow! Dave.
