About	A simple yellow daffodil photographed in full sunlight against a dark background. The intial exposure was somewhat underexposed [-1.3 EV] and layers were screen blended to build the final exposure. The challenge was to keep the brightest of the highlights from becoming too hot. Some PSP7 digital illumination effects have been used to enhance the natural backlit lighting.

Thanks for the comments. I realized after I uploaded this image that I made it 660 pixels wide instead of 640, so it got automatically resized and lost a bit of its sharpness. C'est la vie.

Beauti....ful! I love the translucent appearance of the petals. Well done. Might have been nice to see a little reflected light on the front of the center of the flower.
