An artistically balanced image would contain an odd number of blooms or clusters. This image has two cluster (even number). I find the branch running across the image divides rhe image into uneven halves. I hope this answers your question.

Dear Laura, please explain WHY do you find the image unbalanced. I am very curious and would appreciate an answer! Thank you! YT

It is good to see blossoms, Yoshiyuki! the composition is interesting. The background is blurred enought to be unobtrusive, but the shape still forms part of the composition. I like the "L" formed by buds and blossoms as it is very restful. Eb

Beautifully detailed with a great dof and lovely delicate colours. The pair look good together but in reality you have two seperate shots, one of which would have been my choice. Very best wishes to you my friend....Ray

Excellent title. Very apt. Exposure looks good but probably could have taken it back a step. Fantastic depth of field. Well done Yoshiyuki :)
Cheers Rina.

Beautiful blooms. The image is a bit unbalanced, Might have been better to crop out one of the clusters.
