i love the simplicity of this work Katy!
there is a neat feeling produced, the blurred sides of the bottle make the object elusive and the photolandscape desolate, but the red cap, like crimson lips brings passion and vitality to the shot, helping the mood of the overall photo.

Hi Katy, I like the idea and DoF. I would have like to see the bottle top a little more in focus. Another thought is a vertical shot showing a little more of the bottle side. Would be great to see if you have any other versions of this.... The white background looks great and makes a good contrast with the bottle.

Katy,
this is a stunning image, I wish I'd come up with the idea! Bold, emblematic, graphic -- like a modern art painting. As a large print, I would hang it on the wall in a minute! I also love the oh-so-slight imbalance in the centered perspective...

Good DOF.. I would suggest zooming in on the bottle top more so the words aren't so blurred.

I like the extreme shallowness of the DOF and the overall concept, but would perhaps prefer the bottletop just a tad sharper.
