Hi Craig, I like this angle, as well as the balance in the composition. It captures the NYC feel very well.
I just would like to see a bit more contrast between the faces of the buildings and the sky, as I believe that would really make this image tick.
A strong shot, though, which offers a lot to think about.
Take the reflections in the building on the left; in a way, the lines do pull the viewer to the ESB, yet they seem a bit too bright to me, becoming more of a distraction than an improvement. Cropping it off? Hmmm. No. Don't think so. It would square the image, probably placing the ESB too much in the center of the composition.
I also wonder what camera settings you have used here; there seems to be a slight unsharpness in the image. A motion blur? I presume you've used a tripod? Or hand held with a very sensitive ISO setting and a wide aperture? Not likely.
Cool shot, makes me want to go back there; I did miss this angle...:)
