I hate to say this -- or no, I don't hate to say this -- but that little guy does not look like Gollum at all! Too cute -- though I guess the sadness of Gollum could be kind of cute. And no, doesn't look to me like he would have let go of that nut for anything. :-) Nice shot and capture and definitely a fitting title (sure that isn't a gold ring in there?)

Great picture! I love the detail in his fur. He reminds my of a pet squirrel I used to have growing up. His name was Frodo, and he was so much fun!
