What a lovely shot Pat! Every time I'm browsing the postings and I see a portrait of a child that makes me pause a while to take it all in and admire it, it always ends up being one of yours. No wonder I admire you! You are a great photographer that is gifted with the ability to capture the most precious moments. Well done!

Pat, I have been looking over a good portion of your work for the last hour or so and I am really impressed by your work. Your obvious affection for your children is wonderful and it is great to see that working in conjunction with your strong aesthetic and artistic sense.
This photograph in particular stands out to me because it has such contrast. The softness of your baby and lamb against the strength of the light and shadow makes this image both sweet and muscular - a very original juxtaposition of themes. This is both a great portrait and figure study, something that is very difficult to acheive with a child so young.
