hi,just saw this and thought i would tell you that it isn't a sky,but my bedroom gauzy curtains and i added the chalky pastel effect from a saplet that came with PSP8...i don't use neat image as samples i have seen make things look melted,or too smoothed to me....in this case,i liked the curtain texture...appreciate the feedback tho'...hugs,gayle

Thanks and nice to hear from you again,Paul...i shot these flowers in front of my gauzy bedroom curtains,converted to b/w,used a saplet that comes with panitshop pro8 which is a pastel chalky effect,then tweaked contrast...i think i did the moon by choosing a spot light effect and then played with transparency until i got what i liked......i will write it down next time i create one and then share the specs with you...take care!

Wonderful image. It seems that you have created a romantic moment between these two flowers. Great job on the moon, a lot of times it looks fake when these things are created, yours does not. Very well done.

brilliant! love the macro flowers. that is just how loves feels, time and place distorted and basically meaningless (at least initially). the grain effect adds to the poetry and power of your image.

Hi Gayle,
I like the overall composing with the two focus points and the contrast. The sky looks a bit weird with the fragments in it (neat image?). Anyway, the typical great Gayle creative department.

This reminds me of a book cover or maybe the cover of a CD Gayle. Very moody and somewhat mysterious. Did you ever get anywhere with your greeting card idea? This would be a nice addition.

hi,the texture is my crinkled sheer curtain that was behind the flowers on my bedroom windowsill...there is also a fuzzy chalk effect applied on entire image from a saplet that came with psp8...i still don't know how to do layer work,so i just play with settings/tools...thanks for feedback!

Yeah I agree with previous comments it has romantic qualities which is nice. At first I wasn't sure about the moon but I do like it.
