About On the edge of the Pacific Coast, near high tide line is the floatsum and jetsum of the violent winter storms. The forest lies just behind but the front line trees have taken the brunt of the sea spray, wind and rains.

Martin,

I appreciate your comments, I did some desaturation of the color of the trees and increased contrast as well otherwise it is as I saw it.

The guardians of the forest behind...do they curse their sorry lot, or wear their scars with pride? An interesting shot, but to me it looks over-processed. I wouldn't mind seeing this printed as a gloomy, high-contrast black-and-white.

Cheers,

Jon

It does look like the entrance to another world, Larry! Well seen and captured, you've got very good detail in those old trees.
Dave.
