Awesome landscape! The lines formed by the hills are a great lead across the image. The light, tones and contrast are excellent.

I like the way you presented this photo, very black subject amongst the white landscape... I see a reason why you had this dog covered slightly by the white blades of the grass(?).
A totally dark element on a white background would appear like a hole on an image..
nice high key photo...
regards..

Annemette:
Great B&W work . . . this dog really stands out in the various greys of the winter landscape. I agree that the whole silhouette could have been nicer if it had been seen without the foreground plants. Since (He?) is so very black . . . it might be simple to clone out the plant using the coal blak colors of (him?). He's(?) a great looking dog and I can totally understand why you would shoot this landscape. It's beautiful . . . and I get cold just looking at the picture!

Regards,
Doyle I <------

I can see why you took the shot and its turned out well in black and white. Pity the dog is semi hidden the silhouette effect would have been more striking if we could see all of it.
Regards, Gary
