Hi,
How are you Doing? Congrats for the "POD".
A little comment i have over here is that i am little confused as in what is the focus of this image...the back ground...the foreground or the contrast between the two..The comment suggests that foreground is point of interest here and if that were the case i would have loved to see it lit better or the background to have been subdued. Right now, what is happening is since the forground is symmetrical and is a fixed form, it is getting read by the eye very quickly and eye is almost immediately moving to the background trying to locate the interest point in the background and that process too is hampered by 1. The thick bars in the foreground. 2. No specific subject in the foreground.
I hope you might like to ellaborate on this.
Regards P

LOVE THIS!
Well done Petal! Wicked abstract!
The detail, and image contrast is wonderful! At first, I thought they were a battery of cannons...who knew...it's a bridge!
Congrats on the POD! One of your best abstracts!

Hi there Bruce, thanks for the comment... but for it to have a level horizon... you'd have to bring a digger and a hell of a lot of trucks... for it's hilly here and the sloping/tilt of the horizon is a natural one... ;-D

I have to agree with Bruce though.... A level horizon would've been nice. Weird, those things are usually the first things I notice...:) Guess the foreground absorbs enough attention to divert the attention from the counter clockwise tilt in the horizon...:)
Cheers,
Hugo

Nice diagonals in this abstract Petal. Would have preferred a level horizon, but then the angles would have changed and the bridge supports wouldn't have been level - what a dilemma!
