Awesome job Mark. I haven't been to Millenium park since last summer when they took the bean to be polished. The news the other day mentioned it was done, and I told myself I had to get down there to take some shots. I like your ideas... keep them coming. Gina

Long ago I had to shoot a house in the dead of winter on a cloudy day. Just every photographer's nightmare, gray/overcast sky. So I decided to shoot at dusk and set up some tungsten lights and used tungsten film. The house looked fine as expected BUT the sky was to die for! Such blues and the clouds were just perfect. Ever since then I always shoot buildings at night/dusk with tungsten.

Thaqnks Joe! I've posted a corrected version here with the WB set closer to tungsten and I agree, it looks better. Very sharp of you to pick that up! Cheers, -mm

I have seen so many pictures of the Silver Bean but NONE like this! Extra points for creativity! This looks like it has a WB set for daylight, I would have liked to have seen it set to Tungsten. The sky would have been such a wonderful blue and the light closer to white.
