That is a beautiful pattern Maryam, and so vivid and sharp. The culture in Iran produces some fanstastic art - I hope to be able to see it first hand one day.

I am really enjoying this piece here, especially because of the articulate design put in the architecture. The dome looks fantastic as do most within Islamic Architecture, but it seems the centering of the photograph is a bit off. Nevertheless it looks terrific. Keep up the great work Maryam!

Best Regards Ken~ :)

yes...in Spain there are so good examples of Islamic architecture...but i've heard the Alhamra palace was designed by an iranian architect...as i heard all the plans and related architectural drawings are in persian language...
ummm, among islamic countries and their architecture, i like iranian style and then those ones in india...style, colors and patterns they used in their architecture are more delicate and soft in comparison with other styles such as arabic and turkish ones.
anyways, u know spain would be one of my first choices of visiting if i have a chance of abroad traveling...it's a beautiful country with some kinda similarities to iran

tx for ur comments
good luck, MaryaM :)

in architecture of islamic countries, after islam attaction (in ur words),maybe u could find some similar concepts of islamic culture and patterns...but, the way they reached to these common ideas creates different styles...one of them is iranian style that u could find in architecture of Isfahan for instance
as i told u the most specific charactristic of this architecture is the colors they use, and sure there is a strong idea behind it...

but this is not lesson...we could call it exchange of views, somehow! ;)
and now i'm gonna do my assignment of creating DOF as u told me...i wish i could :p

thanks
when i was a child i loved being architect, but it was impossible and I had to change my gole.so I think ur pic shows the eslimi plat which has had impact from islam....if u saw the Iranian achitecture before istam ataction u can not find such as this pic
so i'm ready to learn some lesson from u.

lol...that was a reply to the TONE of ur last comment, and SURE u know what i mean! ;)
but tx alot for visiting my profile, stopping and writing comments on my piX
ummm...and about the title, this kinda architecture is completely related to iranian style...u can never find these colors in any islamic architecture...arabic architecture has colors with themes of dark and goldish yellow...they usualy use warm colors, but in iranian one u could find light blue and turquoise colors, cold colors i mean...so u see, it's iranian sky and not arabic one ;)
anyways, tx again for ur comment

PS: if u r intrested in architecture we could have a deal! photography VS architecture
