Sorry again, I mean at this screen capture. Notice how jagged these edges are? The tulip is beautiful well exposed and pretty but these edges make it look cut-out(read fake) here are 2 possible remedies: 1)Use the blurring tool with the tiniest brush with maybe 40% opacity just in the areas I've circled or...2) When you use the lasso tool set the feather to 1 or 2 pixels and it'll make your cut out appear more natural. Ken, I really like your flower pictures and I hope you accept my criticism constructively as that was the spirit in which it was intended.

A great time of year for tulip lovers, Kenneth! A great example of why, with your photograph here. Excellent detail in the center of the flower, especially the pollen grains. I like the way the flower seems to be floating in the frame, although I agree the top is cropped a little close.

I very much enjoy the combination of flower and background color. They seem to quietly vibrate. I also like that you've chosen a somewhat faded flower for a subject. You've made beauty of its imperfections. The highlights on the curving back petals form a light halo around the subject. What to fix would be very little. The crop at the top seems sort of close to the frame. Also, its a taste issue, but, I long for some detail in the background.

Very nice work.

Perfect 7 for a wonderful macro.
Love your blue background which brings out the beauty of the flower.
