This is a lovely composition of selective focus and I'm pleased to note that your instructor ruled out PS....It is always good to see compositions with zero or minimalistic changes. Well done to you Laura, all the best....Ray

wonderful shot, I like the nice soft colors, the lighting and dof are nice, they look just right on my monitor,, UF needs a monitor calibration chart so we can be sure we are all looking at the same thing.. Anyway very well done..

Thanks for commenting Kostas. I actually took these shots this morning for my homework assignment for a photography course I just started. The instructor is allowing zero PS work so I left them as is but I agree about the cropping and it could definitely benefit from some levels work. Thanks! Laura

Laura, this is another well composed photo except for the flower in the bottom which i believe shouldnt be cropped in the middle. the lighting is interesting but the picture looks a bit underexposed in my monitor. bye :-)
