About Photographer http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/81319 ;) Well he actually wasn't harmed in the taking of this shot.LoL. We found this place in our trip to bushehr it was somewhere near Irans Nuclear power plant ( it was so scary taking pictures in that place !!!) and looked just like the pictures wich where taken from bushehr at the time of Irans war with Iraq (about 20 years ago) anyway I decided to simulate the Martyrdom of the iranians..
At first he didn't even wanna take off his shoes but when I covered his clothes with ash.. Well I guess he changed his mind ;)

Hi dear Ray.. Well you didn't upset me no way my dear friend, I'm aware of the fact that you aren't familiar with Iranian war shots and am so glad that you write honest comments this way we could both get to learn new stuff ;)
Take good care..
Have a nice day my dear friend..
My very best,

A stunning image and great idea. I'd never have known there was laughter! The image is so dramatic and powerful. Taking his shoes off for the bare feet really worth it !

Oh aLi I hope I haven't upset you with my comment on this composition. It was thoughtless of me to comment the way I did about a subject so important to Iranians.... If you were to visit this country I could show you areas dotted around with people looking a lot like your friend, but they would be drunks, drug addicts or tramps. I get the feeling that you wouldn't be able to see such sights in Iran. Forgive me aLi. My very best wishes my dear friend......Ray

Hi dear Ray... many many thanks for the good comment .. Well maybe this shot could be best comprehended by iranians as most of the war happended in the southern parts of iran and all pictures from those days have been taken in dry palm groves with broken palm trees.. and the place by itsself resembles the iran-iraq war for most iranians.. anyway maybe it's not that war looking afterall, I'll be posting a few more from the series I guess.. Some with some blood;)and thanks again for the great and honest comments my dear friend I know you know that I highly appreciate your comments..

Have a great day my friend..
My very best wishes from Iran..

Hi aLi...this is a wonderful shot with excellent attention to detail....but to me he looks like he's drunk or perhaps a down and out (tramp). Maxime has hit the nail on the head...A great shot with the wrong about...I really love the composition and the immense efforts to direct the scene but maybe Siavash needs to look more convincing and mabe some 'blood' needed to be introduced. Very well done to you my dear friend the composition is excellent but the about just doesn't fit. My very best wishes to you as always and I'm delighted to read that more shots are to be anticipated......Take care my good friend aLi....Ray

Perfect shot,
it's a good art, making a scene, as it may be!
but both of us know that the reality is much far away from this easy shot,
God idea anyhow,
I like the composition and tones.
Well done to you,
Mohammad

My friend this is a very great photograph, love the
incredible perspective. Great point of view, nice
colourtones and well detailed shot. Brilliant work
all aspect, nice play with special (stormy) tones.
The pose and his look very expressive, so dramatical
feeling.
Great work, nice presentation my friend! Nice one!
Very well done dear aLi!

Best wishes my friend!

Love your image! A nice and thoughtful scenario and with very excellent composing! Not funny at all, on the contrary it is a serious illustration. Maybe I’m wrong dear Ali, but this image and this thoughtful creation need little more critically about, I believe! The colours and illumination really just perfect! A gorgeous background for this scenario and great details! You could really use it as a reporting picture with some information about the war! It is a worthy and thoughtful project with a wrong about, I suppose! My best complement for your project!
Best wishes: Maxime

:)))) sorry I know this subject is so serious.. But can't help laughin, coz Siavash's gesture is so artificial and there isn't even one drop of blood on him! Suggest u to add some ketchup effect on his image
But generally ur concept is very interesting & appreciable..
