Roland,
I just was checking out a slide show software program, when all of the sudden I though all of Sherron Sheppard's captures seemed very familiar.
If it was just yours I would have blown it off, but I feel that I have seen many of her captures on UF, which she doesn't have a membership under that name.
I know it's not the exact photo you did, but I have some doubt she is on the up and up? You tell me?
Check out this slide show:

Most excellent effects but the composition is excellent, too. I like the low angle you used as well as the foreground dodging and toning. Great capture, just the type of photos I prefer to shoot.
Best wishes, Dave

Excellent photograph Roland. The portrayal of time forgotten is well documented here in your photo. The use of the rule of thirds is well done and the grainy resolution makes the old car just stand out so well in the field grass. The only thing I feel is the sky could have been a bit less dominant. I feel half that could have been enough to give the aspect of the sky line but still keep the uniformity of the photograph in tune. That is only my feeling but all in all I feel you have taken time and made a wonderful work of art with it. Very well done. Regards, Stu

Great composition !The grains and tone go very well with the theme and heighten the feeling of 'oldness'.The skeleton of the car overgrown with grass captures the viewer's attention and is a perfect fg object. The deserted houses in the bg complete and compliment the subject.Only small nit is that the extreme whiteness in the bottom few cms clashes with the overall tone and slightly distracts. However, since I know nothing of IR pg I'm not sure about the technical significance of this overexp.Overall, a beautiful and moody picture.

Surreal, very nice composition, the old shacks at the background really adds up to make this a wonderful image. I like the tones you used to render this scene.. nice one kabayan..

If this wasn`t a CC image I wouldn`t mention it,there is a slight overexposure on the grass to a otherwise AWESOME image. The grainess is typical of HIE and welcome by most IR lovers. Having shot HIE I know the problems you encounter to produce this masterpiece.Love it a lot.I notice you shoot at ISO 100 but you can go much higher if need be for printing,if scanning negs I leave it as is.I like the composition and exposure. Perfect7. Well done.

Excellent effects between the grain, sepia and IR, Roland! Apart from all that, I like the composition of your image, too. Very interesting subject especially with the old buildings in the background. I've got a similar vintage Ford in my portfolio you might be interested in. Dave.

Nice effect Roland! It adds to the surreal quality of the image. Some people might not go for the noise / grain, but I think it suits this one very well. I love this kind of stuff!
You might be interested in my last two posts because of a similar theme (the passing of time around some old relics) Andre

Excellent work Roland! I wish I could view the larger image but this computer pervents it.....:( My computer is in the shop. Love IR images very much and love how this one works......The sky, the hilly country side and the over all rustic look of the image. The composition is nice and you have added just the right amount of suroundings to give us a complete story! 7+
Thanks for sharing.....
