I never noticed the dark line until you mentioned it here. Going back, I saw it right away, of course. I do relly like the brightness of your B&W. MAry

Ian, I really liked what you did, that looks closer to the original while still highlighting what needs it I think. I hate when I go to work and check out some of my pictures, I can see why some people might say the colors, and brightness/contrast are a bit too much, but on my one at home it's just fine. I've done some printing out of these and so far color/brightness spot on. Thanks for the time. Hope work went well :-)

Nicely done. It has a near-infrared quality in the contrast and tonalitis.Good work . . . Regards, --George

Beautiful scene full of events, that jagged rock far right just caught me.

Quite a different shot now indeed mark. Suddenly I missed the rock contrast and the definition of those nice plants in the foreground. I've tried lowering the midtones on some software here at work (...ermmm, I'm on a break...). The more I compare it the more I liked the grasses in the original. Mind you I spose I don't know whether it's my monitor at the moment.

I see the difference- amazing the different feel to it Mark. It all seems lighter and warmer- almost a different time of day or season!
