Great shot of Manila! Why not take another without the boat on the left? I agree the bright yellow light distracts the eye from the quiet image on the right.

Those are my thoughts exactly Luis. It certainly creates a dynamic scene with the moving boat, esp. as the light from the boat is coming directly towards the viewer.
I think it would make a more traditional night scene without the boat, however it is an interesting scene now with the boat/light.

Thanks for the comments Chris, and yes it certainly would different without the boat as it would be more static and but maybe more scenic. I think the boat adds a sort of action to it. But to answer the question, no did not take a picture without the boat, maybe I should have. Luis

Great night scene, and the boat adds an extra unusual dimension to this night photo.
I'm curious if you took any without the boat pulling in as well? I think it would be a really different scene w/o it.
Regards, Chris

Very nice photo. Very colourful. Also there is a lot of depth in that. However I find that the light coming from the boat at the left side is a bit distructing. Well done, Michalis

Lovely night shot Luis. Exposed well. Did you play with shutter speeds, ie. longer exposures stopping down the aperature? I would be interested. Great regardless. Ron.

Absolutely stunning! The colors are beautiful and work well together . . . warms mingling with the cools. The reflections are beautiful and I'm amazed at the shutter speed . . . I would have guessed much slower, but that would have blurred the tour boat. Very nicely done! The sky sure worked it's magic for you too! 7/7
