Liquify is usually reserved for bad photos. I see this as an example of that. I just don't see this as anything other than silly stuff. Sorry.

A response to all of those who have taken the time to respond. Marco--I love your work--it is creative and unique. Altaf...thank you for the comment and the warning...learning new mediums and creating outside the envelope has brought me a career. I will tone this down and only submit a few of these occasionally...by the way...prepare for your site to double in volume and dynamics immediately--as all of the movers and shakers that made sig work are coming over...prepare for bandwidth and banner sales...you are welcome.....Venicia...I love Maui and your work is very nice...let people create...after 800,000 photographs you will enjoy experimenting as well.....Howard...creating does not require a camera or a paintbrush--only a fascination for light and dreams--thank you for your comment....Armindo...Altaf does not know yet how lucky he is to have you on his site...wonderful to see you here...and we will have that glass of Port in the next 5 years...Regards to all....William

I see that opinions vary qute a bit regarding this type of abstract shot. Personally, I find it fascinating and would like to see you do more of this and other experiments.

Well,

It may have started off as a photograph (no way to know) but it's not photography, now. As an abstract effort, it has little appeal. It appears you are fascinated by the ability to smear your paints on your "canvas" but there is no communication with the viewer, other than "look what I can do."

I think you are taking the liquify filter a bit too far.
