Having seen The Shroud of Turin, once thought to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ, which was declared factice from the 13c. One can not wonder about this work.
It is no fake, in a dark-room one can create all sorts of magie... one wonders about... Art for Art's sake... but your LE DÉSESPOIR EST ASSIS SUR UN BANC... is still one of my favourites!

Wow, very interesting a very creative, it's sumblime, it's both beautiful and eerie at the same time, it reminds me of some horror film or something, an old and worn painting on the wall of a spooky house or something! Haha im getting carried away, sorry! Nice image,
