For me, this is by far the best out of the series that you have posted. Again I say for me. #2 - Although breaking the composition rules can work often, I don't think that it does on this one, If the seal had curved its head back into the frame it would be been heaps better. I think that because the seal body if moving out of the frame to the right, i.e. the seal is moving left to right, it does not force the eye to move back into the frame. There is just too much movement from left to right. #3 and #4 - I think it would have been interesting to see both of those croped in a portraite, especially #4. Either that or move the head further to the top of the frame and give some more of the foreground. I think that the centre vertical and cerntre horizontal crop just does not work on this image. As I said I would love to see it as a portrate with more of the seals body included. That would force the face to the top third of the image. Another way that i may have been nice to change that image was to shoot it lying on the ground. That would force the horizion lower down the seals body. may have created a even more interesting image. But nature being nature does not allow much time for this considerations. I must admid, i love the colour of the background. Have hazyness matches so well with the seal. All in all, congratulations on a great capture.
