Thanks Sarah, it really is an everyday sight for me, since i just looked out of the window and there it was! But as nice as the picture , which i didn't enhance digitally, it isn't anymore. Guess it had to do with the colors of the young leaves and the sun dropping in at a specific moment...

Beautiful colors and composition! You took an everyday sight and turned it into something original and stunning. It reminds me a lot of Monets paintings!

Wonderful image Marco. The colours so strong and can stretch the eyes through the leaves. So uplifting and so well framed.

Thanks Jim for your comment. I tried several frames from small to big to none. A dark frame didn't work, it had to be a cheerful picture and dark would set the mood to much. I now picked a color which is present in the picture to balance the frame with the picture. But not the brightest color as you can see. I picked a green color in between. And because the color is more related to the leaves in the middle, it pulls you in, in my opinion. But thanks for your comment, I will look if it still works when the color of the frame is less bright.

What a lovely composition and well exposed too. Nicely seen. I do have a bit of a problem though, the bright frame keeps drawing my eyes away from the leaves. Perhaps something more muted would help. I do like your composition a lot.
