ahhhhhhhhh... bless... awwwwwweeee.
Sorry... impossible to give an indepth critique here.. too busy aww'ing & ooo'ing.. soooo CUTE!!!!
Ok.. sorry will try. You timed this shot to perfection.. do love how these guys are posing.. both the front ones neatly in line with the third cranking his kneck to see over. The clarity is so spot on... feel like I can see every strand of fur on their backs & that ground makes the perfect background, compliments the picture nicely. I only have two probs with this one... 1/It hasn't won a UF award yet!!!!! & 2/ I'm gonna have to pry myself away (somehow)to go to work ( x

Photo is sharp and detailed, but the highlights on the cygnets are burned out, leaving two very bright hotspots, which is a shame. Knocking the exposure down a little, and checking the histogram would have prevented this. From a personal point of view I think I would have preferred to have kept the 3rd cygnet complete and not cut it off like that. I also feel that the use of a little fill in flash would have added a catchlight to the eyes, preventing that dead black look... even if it feels daft to use flash on a bright summer day!

the baby swans look very cute, and I fully agree to Jude - the details are perfect! Maybe on a different background(like green grass) the photograph would look better, but it's not always possible to have things like You want to be! My best regards! Arturs
