About this shot is a view of the "Bridge of Khaju" ("pole-i-khaju" in persian), a masterpiece of balance and harmony, across the Zayandeh-Rud river in Isfehan...the bridge is constructed about 400 years ago (17th century) at the order of king of the time (2nd Shah Abbas Safavid), in those glorious moments of Isfehan when it was selected as the capital of persia.
the bridge with 23 arch is 105 meters long and 14 meters wide. The pass way of the bridge is 7.5 meters wide, made of bricks and stones with 21 larger and 26 smaller inlet and outlet channels. The pieces of stone used in this bridge are over 2 meters long and the distance between every channel and the ceiling base is 20 meters.

I really love this from a composition point of view, but being out of focus unfortunatelly spoils it.

If you can I would advise you to go and take it again, it can make a wonderful shot.

Regards,
Ciprian

Very well represented portfolio MaryaM. Beautifully composed pieces. This shot has a great focal point. More clarity of the details and perhaps some color saturation may be a consideration, however you have presented it very nicely. Well done. -john

Excellently composed it seems never ending Maryan, such depth. The Centering the image is perfect in this case as it empasizes the depth and the symmetry of the image. I also like your note.

Dear Maryam
A wonderful image. So interesting with such a bridge made so impressive and beautiful - I wish such architecture was still made in the present.
Although blurry the crop and perspective is great.
Best wishes,
Annemette

Beautiful Maryam, but a bit more focus should make it even more impressive. Think about your horizon, you could straighten this one by using PS or any orher photo program. I played a little with it, little tad sharper, straigtening and so, hope you don't mind, and hope you like it.
The coming weeks no posting and comment from me, due to a vacation. See you hopefully after that.
Take care,

Klaas

It's a great image with a great history, but I'd straighten the slight tilt, and I think to show the wonderful textures there should be some more focus, your composition is awesome!!
