Really like the tones you've got in this B&W. I am still trying to learn that.
I like this one better than the one without the guitar. The guitar just really unfolds a statement as opposed to just the model in the frame.
Good protrait
Best wishes, Dave

Very good environmental portrait, Chris! You've really transmitted the love of the musician for his instrument and music! Good b/w tones, too. Dave.

OK, I must admit I am old fashioned (as well as old) lol Perhaps just cradling the guitar so that the opening shows?

Thanks for the idea Laura... I have a couple like you suggested but it seems every guitar photo you see is always setup with someone about to play... was trying something different. Will post some more in the next couple of days. :) Thanks again for your interest.

Hi Chris, I wonder if there is enough time to position your hands as though you are about the play the instrument? I got freaky when I tried delayed exposure! lol

Excellent self portrait! The tones and contrast are wonderful. It could be just me, but... it looks as though you have choke hold on the guitar! lol
