She has a nice expression and is beautiful and thats something to start with. You have a nice light here. To make it better it´s great to have more light in the eyes.

Hi N.J., very nice pose of the lovely model [seen her before :-)] and nice tones, I have to agree to what was said before- more light to the face and there is something wrong with detail- resizing problems or what? seen it also on you flower macro shot- the same effect- kind of a pixel structure...unless you did it on purpose...; keep fighting! all the best, Pawel

Andre, your advice is well taken and I really appreciate it. I know the picture is not as good as it should, but it was taken in a rush befor her living for a date in not the best lighting on ISO1600 and with 1/15 sec shutter from hand. You know I'm just exercising capabilities of "the Fudzia" befor living for the trip tomorrow. When traveling often one need to addapt quickly to various shooting conditions and I'm trying to explore various streaches from ideal studio lighting to be prepared for the challenge. Cheers, n.j

Hi Andrzej,
You certainly have a very pretty subject to practice your portraits on.
The pose is classic/standard, intentionally I'm sure. You need to bring out more detail in her eyes and in the highlights of her hair. The eyes most importantly when lighted better will make a 100% improvement. I don't mean to sound negative, I just know you will see what I mean when you try more and compare this one to ones with improved detail.
