many thanks for your stoppng by comment. as you wrote many people around the world don't know my country very well such as Iranian. we don't know what and where excactly. it's vast and unknown. any way I travell always and some times write some reports and publish them in newspaper and magazine.
about your question...that image shows the mud voulcano neat it there is not any live substances.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55244} 11/19/2006
Fascinating landscape indeed. I wonder what can live there? Lizzards, snakes, birds that feed on them?
I read that you deal with the environment as a journalist. It would be interesting to make all people on UF particiapte in some kinds of sharing about the environmental changes in their area in the world.
Itīs good to see the landscapes and wildlife in your nation being a place that is not very well-known to many people. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Best wishes,
Annemette

This image, captured from a wonderful perspective, really does show how dry and barren the earth is. Well done!

I like the sweeping curve this image creates. If you get a chance to shoot this again, you could try to exploit that curve more. Such drama available.
