About i'd like your ideas on how to make this better. i loved the view through our porch door - the screen in the way, to remind people of summer. i loved the sun hitting part of the screen, and i like seeing our little sunfish sailboat and the lake. thanks!

Great view throught the door, Jessie! I agree to get the idea of the screen you need the light hitting it. Other than having something on the water, I can't think of anything else to improve it, unless you can get that distinctive bang of the screen door slamming shut!
Dave.

For me the most important aspect in this shot is that powerful shaft of light you captured and if to capture that you had to shoot through the screen, then so be it Jessie. I love this shot and feel envious of this wonderful view. I live at the bottom end of a close and look out on other peoples houses. The view from the back is one of my lovely wife's wonderful garden. Well done to you my dear.....good work. Very best wishes to you.....Ray

Its a nice view, Jessie. I agree with vanessa that the reflections from the screen door substracts from the image I think it would look better without the screen. I also think that you could crop from the top, I think the main focus would be the canon and the lake with the blue colors shared by them, just leave a little shore across and some brances of the tree on top. Again, its just my small 2 cents worth, and very very image is personal so it may not be to your taste.

Lovely capture ..not sure how you could improve ..without the sun catching the screen at the top you would not get the impression of the screen there..what a beauitful view ..all i got is the house across the road..wow..lol nessa
