Darrin, as you probably have guessed from some of my critiques, I really like a well-focussed, sharp image when the subject matter calls for it (though I am NOT one of those sharpness fanatics! ;-))... But I also love, perhaps even more, when an image emotes a particular feeling, often in an abstract, elemental way... So I love certain effects, and blurrs, and motion, when appropriately applied to an image, either when shooting or in post processing... And this one is absolutely top notch, in my book... Intriquing, elemental, evocative, colorful, and rich in Culture... And that shadowy path beneath his feet and running across the frame is icing on the cake - just terrific... I don't know how much of this was planned or is serendipity, as in a happy accident, but this is a fantastic image to me, and one of the best of yours that I have seen so far... Go figure! ;-)... I just love this shot
Darrin, let me critique a bit this shot. I appreciate the lack of any digital manipulation, but I would have kept (if possible) tha figure, less blurred in this nice panning shot. I do not know whether you agree with me. Mine is only a (humble) point of view.
