Hi Greg,
I like the natural framing in this photo, very creative composition, and quite effective. The tones are breathtaking - what a utterly serene sight at sunset! Beautiful scene!
Cheers,
Hugo

I looked at this again. I want to add that the heavy foliage curving around the bottom, rendered in exquisite sharpness, makes a distinctive frame - the DOF really works well here. The strong foreground it creates helps create a sense of three dimensionality. A small thing - I wondered if the branch in the middle ground shouldn't be removed - the way it is positioned makes it look like it might be just the end of a long grass stem or something else, and in any event I think it doesn't add to the image. I tried removing it in this image.

You have done an excellent job of creating a scene of utter stillness. There are many sunset shots - they are almost irresistible, really - and very few of even the very good ones stand out. What makes this one worth looking at is the sense it creates of absolute stillness; of silence and of the world holding its breath. Really well done.
