Great macro of the cat's face, John-Eric! Excellent detail. As I see it, the nose was obviously your main point of interest, so I don't mind the eye being out of focus, as background. Dave.

John-Eric . . . I'm inclined to agree with Jim. I like the fill frame and bold crop but (in my opinion) - (usually) if there is an eye . . . it should likely be focused. Other than that . . . focus, DOF, clarity, color all seem fine. Still All is not lost . . . a simple crop will hush the eye critics! LoL! )

Wow - you really got in close with this one. I would have preferred that the focus to be on the kitten's eye rather than the nose though. Still a nice shot. I find my cats are very difficult to shoot and you got a nice one here.
