Thank you for the comments Roberto.
While I still like my original, I have to agree that your editing does look very good and I will certainly keep your comments in mind for future shots.
Thanks again, All the best, Ed

..well Edward.. and maybe, personally I task that the photo is indeed big, the yours choice is to hold the low lights; I believe that one small review of the levels (for the post-production) or light overexposure (for the direct shot) with to a light blow of unsharp-mask have one remarkable photo for detail and clarity..
best reagrds my friend..

Thank you for the comment and compliments James.
As it is the older lens from my Nikon F75/N75, I do find it slower and louder than the kit lens from my newer D70s, but all in all I have no complaints on either its operation or the quality of the shots. For the price you could probably find one for, I would say it would be well worth picking up. I hope this helps answer your question.
Thanks again, All the best, Ed

Thank you for your comments John.
I was pretty close when I took that shot, probably no more than 20-30 feet away. The three cheetahs actually walked right past the truck right before they started running after the gazelle as seen in "The Chase" shots.
Below is a picture from the next day when found the same three eating a zebra they had killed. It should give you a better appreciation of the teeth.
All the best, Ed

Cute cat! Beautiful detail and lovely contrast against the background. How close were you? I imagine those teeth could do some serious damage... John
