Thanks Doyle, I'm honestly not sure what kind of bird this is. I've never been a birding nut, but I'm sure when my mother sees this, she'll know exactly what it is.

Another awesome shot Jacob but to my eye there's a bit too much negative space at the bottom that doesn't add anything to the composition. Looks like a mockingbird we have out here on the west coast, though ours are gray. If it is, he'll be able to mimic several other bird sounds.
Crystal clear focus and great DOF . . . Nice!!!
