You are right; this one is a Red-tailed Hawk female.

I am sorry if I got you confused. In my previous e-mail I was referring to your pics of the Red shouldered Hawk. I understand you got some shots, so if possible I will like to see them at some point.

Hi Yamil, just saw this post. I'll put up that screech owl - have other shots lined up for processing. Hmmm, I guess my ignorance on birds is really showing. I thought this was the red tailed? or is this the red shouldered hawk? Take care!

What a great capture Jinggoy,
I don't think I can do any better than this.
The exposure, details and DOF are excellent for such a fast moving target.
I still want to see your Screech Owl from RSA.
And your Red-shouldered Hawk from yesterday.
Hopefully next time I can go with you guys.

This is really nice Jinggoy, very nice pose, very nice crop to show the full wing spread, this guy really has some nice coloring and you captured it like a pro. no critique here. excellent in every way..
I got a few really nice shots of him but dont think I will be posting anymore red tails for a while.. Great job..
