The composition and exposure is fantastic.The muted colour balance is in perfect juxtaposition with teh mood and the caption.

Reply to Joy : What you say is correct, the trouble is, I was on a month long trek in Himachal, India, at a stretch.My little flash went deep down my rucksack, I did not find it the moment I needed it most.
Next time I shall keep it ready for sure.

Overall an excellent portrait Suvomoy Da.
Lighting the subject in open shade conditions can be tricky sometimes- but you appear to have pulled off a great shot.
Cautious criticism: On the right side just above the hand, there is a dark spot. I do not know if you intended this effect. To avoid this maybe a second flash in slow sync may have helped?

Reply to Aiman : I was lucky, it was less than open shade, 100ASA, zoom lens...I fired a few, this one got frozen, again I was lucky.
