well thank you! I played with the contrast but it too easily became "too much". and you know, the colors were muted to begin with...........and even more so..........the beach this was on is very well known for the round boulders on the surf.........called "Bowling Ball Beach". there are some beautiful photgraphs of them at low tide with a beautiful sunset ( do a search, here's someone else's photograph of it). somehow I just couldn't compete. on the shore buried in the sand are some of these "bowling balls" dry and neglected............but closer look one can enjoy the beautiful curves of the sand around each of them. suddenly instead of trying to take a new shot I had a great time noticing what others probably ignore! while photographing I stopped, took a big breath and reveled on just how much I love doing this! thanks again for your comment. ok, i like your stuff so much (still) that i've changed my background pic to yours (and it was mine before!). ;) these are really good fern. as you might remember, i love these kinds of pic. would you want more contrast or prefer the colours to be muted?
