Sorry, Raquel, I stand corrected then. Might I suggest you note your technique in the "about" area? Maybe the persons responsible for the awards would like that info.

I appreciate even more you photo now that I have seen the real dimentions of the flowers. Therefore it's a good idea to concentrate the attention placing them in the middle of a spot of light.

Dave,
This is not a conventional use of my Canon A80 and my Pentacom lenses (completely incompatible with each other). The tecnique I'm experimenting with qualifies these images for the Toy camera project.
The "vignette" is not a vignette, it's the shadow of the Pentacon 50mm lens (that I use in my Praktica).

Very interesting presentation. The flowers are so tiny, it was a good idea to show the real size. The macro is very good considering the small scale of the buds. The colours are a bit dark.

I think it is a grand photo except I do not like the vignette. It would be so much more appealing with just the soft white background and maybe a simple, traditional frame.
The black vignette just over powers this image.
By the way, a Canon A80 is not a toy camera. I believe that the project "toy camera" is images taken with a toy camera. But then, I could be wrong. I'll go look and see what the criteria is now. If I am wrong, accept my apologies.
