Ne dit-on pas que la vieillesse est un naufrage?

Well, that's good. Thought maybe my brain was broken again. Still like it.

sorry dear James, I make a mistake and I confused the photo ... you are right all of these body parts belong to her... we can see better with this one :)

Ho pensato che capissi. Ma adesso...

I thought the leg to the left of the vertical line was extended from behind the mirror. Hence that same leg, being reflected in the mirror to the right of the vertical line, shows a foot (the end of the leg farthest from the body).

The hand seems simple enough. I was under the impression that all of these body parts belong to your model (belond not as in "owned by" but as in "genetically possessed by").

If that's not the case, I'm baffled.

between us, there was a mirror... she was sitting behind the mirror and I was sitting infront... and the leg reflection on the mirror is mine :) actually there are two legs but it looks like one :))capito ? :)

To my eyes, you have given the impression of a leg draped around, say, a table leg--one leg not reflected. Then you have the dual hands which are clearly a product of the reflection of a mirror. The image doesn't make sense to the eye at first.

"How can the leg be visible? Is this two people? But what about the reflection?"

For this reason it strikes me as surrealist.

with the leg flu or not clean I wanted to give the expression of "unknown" or other side the miror...

Oh, don't lose the leg. It turns the image around. It suggests more people. You might even consider shooting with a broader DoF to get the leg clean.

I can't say whether I prefer the color the b&w. They both have appeal.

I don't have too much experience at Photo shop or any other similar programs for making photo arts. I don't know how to use layer... just giving some levels + contrast degree, changing color and filtration but never working with layer. thats why it is not good working :) I have some other picture without leg. I will participate it with you later. Thank you very much again for your helpfull comment dear Steve. Regards...

I like it better in Black and white. The hands or great. Kinda like I was thinking with the first image I commented on. The leg... I'd lose the leg. If you want to keep theleg use a softer brush on the retouching, it's too jagged. Also around the hands. I'm assuming you were trying to make the backround completely black. If you want to make it a work of art, take you time with it. I have a photo I made for a birth annoucement for a friend. It took a long time at High MAG to get the lasso just right, but once it's done, it's done. Put it on a layer and you can do whatever you want with it later. Slow down. Usefilm will be here later, no rush to get it up now. Just my advice...

Steve
again, I think just hands coming out of seemingly no where in perfect symmetry from the mirror reflection, in black aand white.....

maybe??

Have fun, thanks for sharing...

Congrats!
