I like the transition from the outside of the photo with its random rough rock-work through the organized texture of the bricks to the lighter pattern of the "rays" to the creamy refinement of the marble statue. I think also this transition from rough and disorganized to smooth and refined gives double emphsis to the subject of the Mary and what she may stand for for believers. I think this makes what at first glance looks like a straight documentation, actually be quite a strong image which holds my attention. Also the tones are well done. Nice job!
