Great texture and composition, I like the inclusion of the red in the image I think it helps keep the eye in the frame.

Sounds like we'll have a few more chances to photograph snow and ice in the next few days, will Spring ever come? I tried to shoot some snow this morning but it was too white -- all burned out. I might give it another try tomorrow but snow is hard to shoot.

Hello Betsy, this is an original, thin ice, almost frost like, natural light, just gotta go out and get it!

Ah yes, another spring day in Wisconsin. This looks like a watercolor, very artistic. Or, it could be a fabric pattern. The colors are great together, and a nice crop. I like it. -- Betsy Badger

No Lonnie, I'm from Wisconsin, but people do say I sound like I'm from Canada, can you hear it, especially when I go to Florida, hey. P.S., I like your work!

Are you Canadian? I found the frozen maple leaf surrounded by the colour red interesting. Note the spelling of colour!
