I missed these four Shirley! This photo is my favourite (excuse me: favorite!) for the splendent mood due to the highlights emitted by the circle of rays. In all this white the little woman is a mirage about to vanishing.

What a beautiful little angel you have created in this composition dear Shirley, the effects you have achieved must have pleased this lovely little subject and her parents. I like what Joel did to your shot on the riht hand side very much but both of your techniques fall into a category of the unknown for me. I think I should have experimented more when I had more time....heyho. I just love the way all little toddlers have these cute little pot bellies, oh how well I remember my daughters' and latterly their childrens' ones. All the best Shirley.....Ray

Very nice image! ...and now or my critical review, cause all i do is look at comps all day ;)
..The core of the white object is upstaging the girl a bit too much, and forcing an unbalance to the image. The viewers' eye fights for a target if you focus on either the girl or the white core on the white object. It's because the depth of the girl is softer.
Hope you dont mind.. i took your image, blasted the right with white, and burned the the girld face a bit. I also cropped the image to force the 3rd's a bit, and pull the drama into the girl a bit more.
