Hi Sam,
Yes the flying Geico ... Actually it is quite huge and dangerous !!! But soooo much fun watching these giant kites fly!! I live in the Kite flying Capital of the World ...at least this is what the City claims and it gets sooooo windy that sometimes they have to cancel exhibitions:(
That is Windy too!

Thank You so much for commenting , I do appreciate it .

heh heh... great angle, not too many chances to capture the belly of a lizard as it flies through the sky!

Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks for looking soooo close Doyle ...But you are right there is something like an air mattress connected to the nose to keep it's heavy head up high! I knew the tail being cut was not a good thing, but the rest of it was the clearest shot I had. This is what I had to chose from in the skies ....
Maybe I made a wrong choice of the ballon lizard alone. Believe me I've dzs. of these photo's ! The one I regret not getting a good shot at was what resembled a person parachuting ! Very cool kites. Another one I have is like a lady bug over 90 ft. long but it never actually made it off the ground. Not sure if it was too windy or just too many people + not enough space for take off !
Here's a look at what is attatched to the string on the nose.

Thank You for your comment Dave....Yep , you are right > It is a kite, so it should be on strings ( or ropes) and a tail would also be a good thing ! LOL

Interesting shot -- Dave makes a point about the tail cut but the colors are great and the kite(?) is interesting . . . looks like a balloon. Do I detect a line going UP from the nose too??

And don't worry about those lines . . . they belong there!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Good catch of the kite, Michele! I thinks it's OK the strings are visible, after all, it's a kite! Now maybe if you had a shot where all the tail was visible....
Dave.
